Our policies
What to know before you book.
Booking and deposits
Book online or call the front desk. A card holds treatments of 90 minutes and longer, and any booking for two or more guests. The deposit goes toward your service. Shorter treatments and steam sessions take no deposit.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move a booking. If you're running late, call: we'll hold your time as long as we can, and a late arrival shortens the treatment so the next guest isn't kept waiting.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss an appointment without telling us, the terms you accepted when you booked apply. Shifts run over, so call and we'll move you if we can.
Children and companions
Moonlit is an adults' spa. Guests are 18 and over for treatments, the steam room and the lounge. A friend who isn't booked can wait in the front room, not in the quiet lounge.
Patch tests and allergies
Facials and body treatments don't start with a patch test. Tell us about any allergy or sensitivity when you book, and again at the start of your visit, and we'll choose oils and products to suit you. The booking page asks the intake questions, not this website.
If you're not happy
If a treatment wasn't what you hoped for, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.
Tipping
Gratuity isn't added to your bill. Tip your therapist as you like, at the desk when you pay.
Using the thermal areas
The steam room is for guests 18 and over. Walk over in the robe and sandals we give you, hang the robe on the hook outside and go in wearing a swimsuit or the cotton wrap we provide. Rinse first, tie long hair up and sit on a towel. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or have been told by your doctor to take care with heat, ask your doctor first. Leave the room if you feel dizzy or unwell.
Phones and quiet
Phones stay in a locker before you change. There are no phones or photos in the treatment rooms, the steam room or the quiet lounge. If you're on call, tell the front desk and we'll find you when you're needed. Calls are for the front room.
When to ask your doctor first
If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or have been told by your doctor to take care with heat, ask your doctor before using the steam room or having a warm wrap. Tell your therapist about injuries and anything else we should know, and we may suggest you see your doctor first.
Questions before you book?
Call the front desk any evening and we'll talk it through.
